Sierra Atlantic's standard backups include data, databases, applications, and all configuration pieces required to restore the customer installation. Production backups are run daily and are retained for 14 days, a monthly backup is retained for 3 months, a quarterly backup is retained for 4 quarters and a yearly backup is retained for 3 years.
Enterprise customers cannot afford to worry about data loss when it comes to ERP and CRM. With Sierra Atlantic's standby option, they don't have to because if the primary database is destroyed or its data becomes corrupted, a failover can be performed. This option allows a database replica to be created by applying current transaction history and has the ability to minimize data loss to within 15 minutes.
The heart of Sierra Atlantic's VPN solution is Nokia's© VPN hardware/software products. The VPN solution is based on IPSec, and a single VPN gateway can deliver 6 Mb/sec of 3DES/SHA-1 encrypted throughput.
