PORTALnet
PORTALnet enables customers, employees, partners and suppliers to seamlessly access and control, from their portal home page, critical business information locked in enterprise applications. A part of Sierra Atlantic Application Networks suite, PORTALnet is a set of pre-built Portlets for BEA WebLogic Portal and PeopleSoft Enterprise Portal to provide visual integration with enterprise applications from Oracle, SAP and Siebel.

PORTALnet for enterprise applications are supported by a powerful application connectivity architecture and framework that includes a presentation layer, processing layer, data engine layer, and database layer.
The set of included Portlets map to different business objects in enterprise application, and can be incorporated into new or existing portal applications. The Portlets are driven by a set of Java page flows that invoke an extensible processing layer and a data engine, which in turn call Java Controls to request data from enterprise application. Data is retrieved from enterprise application via native API. The responses are processed by the data engine, and rendered by the Java page flows.
