Sierra Atlantic Guangzhou Selected for Best Employer of China Award

FREMONT, CALIF. - December 14, 2009 - Sierra Atlantic Guangzhou has been awarded the 2009 Best Employer of China Award jointly by the International Human Resource Management Association, the Committee of China Best Employer Annual Evaluation and the Chinese Enterprises HR Management Consulting Center. The award was presented at the 6th Annual Center for Human Resources Management (CHRM) Conference which took place at the National Convention Center in Beijing.

Sierra Atlantic was among just 30 companies chosen for the award. In the beginning of 2009, the selection committee and research group of Chinese Best Employers along with local media initiated the Chinese Annual Employer Survey. After six-months of research the team had narrowed the field to just 100 companies which were selected as model organizations based on their employees, commitment to service, profit management and company culture.

Sierra Atlantic Guangzhou ranked high in all the four metrics; society, shareholder, employees, and overall. The company was also evaluated across eight additional categories including business performance, social responsibility, compensation and benefits, employee relationships, employee engagement, career development, work environment, and life balance.
