Hydratight Ltd. Signs Deal with Sierra Atlantic for Global ERP Implementation

Sierra Atlantic Inc., an information technology services outsourcer with global delivery capabilities supported by China and India operations, today announces that Hydratight Ltd. has signed a contract with Sierra Atlantic UK Ltd. for a global ERP implementation using Oracle E-Business Suite to consolidate legacy applications and integrate business processes across its global sites.
"Growth increasingly meant the company had to accommodate different business practices, so this is an essential project to ensure efficiency and future growth," said Phil Maxted, Global Business Leader, Hydratight.
Sierra Atlantic's scope of work for this engagement will involve the integration and synchronization of business processes across global sites, development of a global solution using Oracle E-Business Suite, and delivery of a pilot system at Hydratight's headquarters. This will be followed by rollouts to their global sites.
"This is by far the biggest project of its kind that Hydratight has ever undertaken; the new system's biggest effect for customers will be an even more efficient and standardized service from us, anywhere in the world, whether for sales and rentals or service," said Andy Veale, Global Project Leader for the initiative.
Hydratight is a market leading company providing joint integrity solutions, controlled bolt tightening and on-site machining services to the global petro-chemical, power-generation, oil and gas industry. They offer a vast range of quality products and services including trained, competent manpower, rental and sale of specialist bolting and machining equipment, plus an in-house design capability to tailor products to specific needs.
