Sierra Atlantic Guangzhou wins the Best Employer of China (2009) Award

Sierra Atlantic Guangzhou has been chosen as The Best Employer of China and honored at the Sixth Annual Best Employers Award Presentation ceremony held on October 25th at the National Convention Center in Beijing. Sierra Atlantic is among thirty other companies - representative of different industries and domains - to have won this honor out of hundreds of candidates.

The selection process was highly selective and rigorous. It began in early 2009 with the Selection Committee of Chinese Best Employers, The Research Group of Chinese Best Employers and Chinese Employer Branding Group along with several notable media persons having initiated the Chinese Annual Employer Survey. After screening more than a 1,000 employers over a six-month period, the judges selected 100 out of which the final 30 were chosen for the award after further screening for their People-Service-Profit management and culture. The process also included analysis of responses to questionnaires to staff and management at all these companies.

Sierra Atlantic Guangzhou ranked high in all the four measured metrics - Society, Shareholder, Employees, and Overall across eight dimensions: Business Performance, Social Responsibility, Compensation and Benefit, Employee Relationships, Employee Engagement, Career Development, Work Environment, and Life Balance. Moreover, since Sierra Atlantic’s employer brand is widely recognized, it got the honorary prize of Top 30 Best Employers in China 2009
