This article explains how USA Technologies gained from an effective outsourcing strategy developed by Sierra Atlantic in application development by sending work to its development centers in two countries (India and China), based on each country's specific level of expertise ; a Cross-pollination which is useful because each team looks at the work from a different perspective. Leveraging this unique India-China outsourcing model helped USA Technologies to reduce its time-to-market to half and development cost by about 40%.
