The Oracle Application Development Framework (Oracle ADF) is an end-to-end Java EE framework that simplifies development by providing out of the box infrastructure services and a visual and declarative development experience. ADF offers simplified database access, rich web user interfaces, easy data binding, extended page flow. This presentation discusses various options on how to architect ADF with E-Business Suite. It also details how to leverage ADF and Oracle SOA suite to integrate E-Business Suite using EBS adapters. EBS adapters expose integration interfaces as webservices using iRepository that comprises open interface tables, views, plsql API, xml and e-commerce gateway, business events and concurrent programs.
What I found refreshing about Sierra’s approach was that they were able to embark on this exploration with me and help me find out what the requirements were, help me document them and help build a project plan in advance of any contract being in place and that was the interesting thing.
