Management Team

Raju is the founder and CEO of Sierra Atlantic. His leadership has helped Sierra Atlantic become a Best-in-Class Global Services company. Before founding the company in 1993, Raju spent 10 successful years at Intel steering its software development, marketing, and general management functions.

An active member of the BITS Pilani Board of Directors and a charter member of TiE Silicon Valley, Raju has also co-founded SIPA (Silicon Valley Indian Professional Association) along with other young Indian engineers in 1987. In addition, he has served as a member of the Board of Trustees for Puente, a Wharton School non-profit program that helps under-privileged communities worldwide gain access to technology.

He holds a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Masters degree in Computer Science from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute.

Robert Hersh brings over 20 years experience in senior financial positions for public and multinational hi-tech companies. He has held senior management positions with KPMG Peat Marwick and UNISYS and served as CFO at five public companies, including Network Peripherals, Oak Technology, and Widcom, Inc., for which he directed the IPO. Bob has also served as CFO for Alps Electric (U.S.A.), Inc., a subsidiary of a global 500 high-tech company.

He is a CPA and received his MBA from California State University, Sacramento.

Mr. Sura has over 15 years experience in software development, marketing, and general management in hi-tech companies. He has played a key role in building and sustaining relationships with Sierra Atlantic's Fortune 500 customers and category leading engineering partners of Sierra Atlantic’s Application Networks®

He holds a Bachelors degree in Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, and a Masters degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur, India.

With a Master's degree in Electronics Engineering and PGDM in Manufacturing Systems from the Japanese Management Association (JMA), GK is responsible for driving the global sales team at Sierra Atlantic, and is involved in strategic value assessment of IT solutions.

GK also worked with users on business process improvement through enterprise resource planning (ERP), Supply-Chain planning solutions, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions within manufacturing and distribution organizations.

He has over 18 years of experience in manufacturing systems in operations, systems planning, system design, integration, implementation with process re-engineering and business development. He has worked with several Fortune 1000 and mid-market companies to provide IT solutions, while working on leading enterprise software products like i2 supply chain solution, Oracle E-Business suite, MFG-Pro, MAXCIM, CIMPRO, and Siebel CRM solution.

Sanjay has over 15 years experience spanning the entire gamut of financial management activities including corporate finance, public issue process management, internal audit and budgetary control, managing investor relations, international financial transactions, setting up of subsidiary operations, implementing transfer pricing arrangements and the design and implementation of ESOPs.

He holds a bachelors degree in Commerce and is a fellow member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

As the Senior Vice President for IT services, Feroze is responsible for the business unit that provides services around Enterprise Applications, Integrations, and Custom development.

He has been instrumental in building an elite team of senior delivery managers across geographies responsible for distributed development and delivery of services. Apart from that, he is also responsible for Sierra Atlantic’s own R&D and product development initiatives. Under his stewardship, the company has developed several innovative technology products.

Feroze has over 14 years of experience in product development and projects delivery. Before joining Sierra Atlantic, he was with CMC R&D developing document indexing, workflow, and workgroup management products.

Feroze has a master’s degree in computer applications from University of Hyderabad.

Before joining Sierra Atlantic, Hwa-Pyng Tzeng was the Director of Network Management for Verizon Data Service, responsible for system and solution development. He developed and managed several large-scale network management solutions.

He has over 18 years of IT development and management experience. Before joining Verizon Laboratories (formally GTE Labs), he worked for several software development companies, including Peritus Software Services, Bull Information Systems and Parametric Technology.

He received his B.S. degree from National Taiwan University and his M.S. degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Allen Deary focuses on service methodologies, delivery strategies and corporate culture. Prior to joining Sierra Atlantic, Deary co-founded Peritus Software Services, Inc. in 1991. He served as both CFO and CEO of Peritus and led a highly successful IPO of the company in 1997.

Prior to Peritus, he served as Director of Worldwide Product Development at Honeywell-Bull. Deary also worked at Apollo Computer, where he held a number of financial positions including Controller of Customer Support. He holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from Northeastern University.
