J2EE Technical Lead
Job Description: Consultants, to be part of a highly technical team. The right individuals must be intimately familiar with the process and technologies for implementing enterprise caliber Web-based applications. They will have had direct relevant experience in application development and the ability to quickly research a technical topic related to application design, performance, extensibility, scalability, or problem resolution. In addition, a Senior Consultant's background must include significant experience working directly with customers and system integrators.
Senior Consultants normally fill the role of Technical Lead, Systems Architect, or Project Manager on a customer engagement. In that role, Senior Consultants develop project estimates and create architecture and design documents using standard notation (such as UML). Strong familiarity with project implementation methodologies is a must.
Desired Profile:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in software development. At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Java.
- Development experience with Web based technologies, e.g. HTML and XML.
- Minimum 3 years experience consulting or working on customer-facing projects.
- Experience in all aspects of software development life cycle; emphasis on applying formal methodologies.
- Solid experience on UNIX, Linux, MS Windows, and MS Office tools.
- Solid experience with RDBMS, particularly Oracle and SQL.
- Experience with BEA Weblogic.
- Project management experience, a definite plus.
- Experience with life sciences, Pharmaceutical, and/or CPG industries, a plus.
- Hands on experience implementing SAP, Siebel, Oracle Financials desirable.
